  • Your baby or child of any age has a unique diagnosis or medical condition
The benefits of touch for these special babies and their families has been documented and confirmed through much research.

Possible benefits are
  • Earlier discharge from NICU
  • Increased weight gain
  • Better digestion & ability to absorb nutrients from food
  • Decreased stress hormones (Cortisol) and better stabilization of vital signs
  • Decrease in readmission rates post NICU discharge
  • Increased parent confidence
  • Better long term outcomes such as less sensory integration issues, less aversions to being touched, enhanced growth & development and better sleep patterns

Many hospitals offer a NICU follow up graduate program for parents upon discharge from the NICU. If you have not had this opportunity, than our Gentle Touch series may be for you.
